Roger Raveel (1921-2013) is considered of one of Belgium's most important post-war artists. His work is both timeless and contemporary. It shuns any partisan approach. The breeding ground for Raveel's art is his immediate environment, which acquires a universal resonance through his paintings, drawings, objects and installations.
